Ovarian cancer is the biggest gynaecological killer of UK women. Four in five women are diagnosed once the cancer has spread from the ovary making complete treatment more difficult. That is why awareness is so important, to drive forward improvements in detection, treatment and ultimately survival.
 

This year we are celebrating ovarian cancer being part of the Department of Health's Be Clear on Cancer programme, with pilot awareness raising campaigns taking part in six regions across England.
 

As ovarian cancer charities, we want these local pilots to be expanded into a regional and national programme, in order to save lives. Click on the charities below to find out more.
 

the eve appeal

The Eve Appeal is dedicated to raising awareness and funds for research into all gynaecological cancers. Our current PROMISE 2016 project seeks to save lives through improved risk prediction and earlier detection of ovarian cancer. Ovarian Cancer Action logo

Ovarian Cancer Action funds cutting edge research at the UK’s only centre dedicated solely to ovarian cancer research at Imperial College London. We raise awareness of the symptoms of the disease by funding national campaigns and we act as an advocate for those whose lives have been affected by ovarian cancer. We also encourage international research collaborations and knowledge sharing via the work of our HHMT International Forum.

Ovacome

Ovacome is the UK's ovarian cancer support network. We work to connect patients; provide information on treatment, screening and research; raise awareness; support and give voice to all those affected by ovarian cancer.
